Gregorys Coffee Founder to Take Over Manalapan Drive-Thru During Grand Opening Celebration

Gregorys Coffee will celebrate the grand opening of its Manalapan café with two days of special events on Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17.

Located at 360 Route 9 in Manalapan, the café is Gregorys Coffee's first location in Monmouth County and introduces the company's first double-lane drive-thru. The grand opening celebration will give local guests an opportunity to meet Gregorys Coffee Founder Gregory Zamfotis, experience latte art demonstrations and enjoy limited-time offers and giveaways.

The festivities will begin Wednesday, September 16, with an invite-only Coffee & Chat from 6 to 8 p.m. Zamfotis will demonstrate the craft behind Gregorys' signature latte art, discuss the company's history and approach to coffee, and connect one-on-one with guests. Gregorys baristas will also prepare beverages and offer samples of the café's food and freshly baked pastries.

The public grand opening celebration will take place Thursday, September 17, with special offers and surprise giveaways throughout the morning:

• From 5:30 a.m. to noon, guests can purchase a small hot coffee or small cold brew for $1.00.
• Guests who place an in-store or drive-thru order at the 20th minute of each hour, such as 8:20 a.m., will receive their entire order free. The number honors Gregorys Coffee's 20th anniversary.
• Guests who order at the 28th minute of each hour will receive a bag of Gregs House coffee signed by Zamfotis. The number 28 was selected in recognition of Zamfotis' longtime lucky number.
• Zamfotis will serve guests inside the café and in the drive-thru from 8 to 10 a.m.
• A community ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m.

Founded by Zamfotis in New York City in 2006, Gregorys Coffee was built around the belief that guests should not have to choose between quality and convenience. The company roasts its own coffee, bakes pastries in-house daily, and offers a broad menu of espresso beverages, cold brews, teas, smoothies and freshly prepared food.

The Manalapan café brings that experience to Route 9 with a format designed to serve both dine-in and drive-thru guests quickly while maintaining the quality and hospitality at the center of the brand.
