How long have you been with Craveworthy Brands?
23 years in total. I've been with Mongolian Concepts from the start for nearly 23 years and a part of Craveworthy Brands since its inception in 2023. Our new CEO then and the Founder of Craveworthy Brands, Gregg, gave me the opportunity to work at the Director-level within the Company.
What's your favorite thing about working here?
Honestly, hard to say. First, the people, second, our food and third, having the opportunity to see so many people grow professionally and personally. That's what makes Craveworthy special.
What does a typical day look like for you in your role?
My role is always on-the-go and connecting with my team. It starts early in the morning with visiting stores and calls/meetings. There's no boring moment in this position! What's the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job's making a positive impact on my teams, becoming one percent better each and every day! What's a project or achievement you're particularly proud of?
Being able to oversee all of our new Craveworthy Brands' concepts including our Craveworthy Kitchen location at Hayden Hall in Chicago. I'll always be thankful for being trusted to run all of our concepts in the state.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone just starting in your field?
Relax - only focus on what you can control while making sure you're surrounding yourself with passionate people. And, always remember you can’t teach people to be passionate, that's a quality they must already have.
How do you stay motivated and inspired at work?
Easy - our people! All I need to do is look around, I'm surrounded by the best.
