Interview with Dr. Kathy Glosser on the FranchiseU! Podcast about empowering teams with compassion, franchising as the American dream, and consistency in training and culture.

Key Takeaways

Empowering Teams with Compassion

Gregg Majewski has a number of franchises and concepts under the Craveworthy Brands umbrella. He relies heavily on his team being aligned in beliefs and empowers them to make decisions in his absence.

Franchising: The American Dream

Creating generational wealth is a goal for much of the American population. One of the ways to do that is entrepreneurship, namely franchising. Majewski says franchising was created for that purpose and continues to be so.

Consistency in Training and Culture

With so many franchises and locations across the country, consistency can be difficult to maintain. Craveworthy Brands, however, achieves consistency by pouring back into the stores, calibrating training, and holding managers accountable.

Majewski attributes Craveworthy Brand’s meteoric success to an exceptional team that aligns with the company's vision and values. He believes strongly that the most important role of leadership is setting a clear vision and empowering the team to act decisively.

“You have to have absolutely incredible people that you can believe in and that believe in the way that you do things.” says Majewski. “I surround myself with people that believe the same things that I believe and that they have the same philosophy, but more importantly, the same heart that I do.”

The heart and soul of Craveworthy Brands is Majewski’s commitment to franchisee success, providing essential tools and support to help them avoid common industry pitfalls. He highlighted the importance of human interaction and hospitality in the restaurant business, particularly in the QSR sector.

He views franchisees as partners and values learning from their innovative ideas, and his proudest achievements come from helping others grow into successful leaders, specifically since franchising, for Majewski, is the American dream.

“It was supposed to be a way for people to get into and create generational wealth or have a business of their own that they could operate without having to create it.” says Majewski. “This was the great part of this industry, creating that American dream.”

Maintaining consistency is crucial, and Craveworthy Brands achieves it by investing in stores, training, and accountability.

“You just have to be consistent across that board all the time and give them the tools and then hold them accountable to those tools.”

Gregg Majewski's insights commitment to mentorship and consistency underscores the core values driving Craveworthy Brands' growth and customer satisfaction.
